Hello, I am back. And welcome to my channel! I mainly do train horn stuff, put horns on my car, and I drive by. Experiments and other things about locomotive horns.

Nathan Airchime M5 with 5/16 inlets out for a run in Altoona Pa. Yes 5/16 uses an incredible amount of air to run. It is recommended to choke any 5/16 inlet M horn down to 3/16 inlets. Not as harsh and saves air.

THE SLANDER IS UNREAL that one is surprisingly good did this one come off a comeng train coz they had their diaphragms redone in 2010 iirc

Man that sounds nice. Might be a dumb question but I know M horn inlets are usually choked to 3/16 or left as 5/16. But has anyone to your knowledge gone in the middle and done 1/4 or 4/16?

@@NickSilcox3plz reply do you remember that M5 you restored about nine years ago? If you still have it, do you mind making it into a Nathan m5r24 when I heard the horn one it was like in 1990 I think and it was the most beautiful thing or train horn on m5’s i’ve ever heard i’m just curious what would it sound like?
